Company Background
Fifty years ago Metal Components was a division of Stow-Davis, the office furniture
manufacturer. About forty years ago, Metal Components began contract work for other companies. Thus began Metal Components independence as a separate entity.
Today,
after much growth and evolution, the company manufactures a wide variety of products for OEM companies ranging from small components to full assemblies. Additionally, the company now provides full service engineering capability and value-chain management with sub-suppliers, purchased components and assembly operations. Additionally, Metal Components can ship directly to the customer's facility or drop ship to their customers multiple locations. Metal Components provides full turn-key management of programs and/or supplies component manufacturing.
Today our customers can expect a wide variety of products and services depending on
their needs. As a result, our customer base has grown substantially and is now very diverse. From sporting equipment, to appliance components, to electronic housings, to cabinets, to carts, to office furniture, Metal Components can do it all.
